The FUNN Fantom AM40 Wheelset is built for riders who demand maximum strength and tyre support for aggressive enduro and downhill riding. With the widest rim profile in the Fantom range, the AM40 delivers outstanding stability, grip, and control on the toughest terrain.

This wheelset combines Funn Fantom hubs with welded AL6066 Fantom rims, creating a strong yet responsive wheelset ready for modern mountain bikes. The 40mm external / 35mm internal rim width provides excellent support for wide tyres, improving traction and cornering confidence on technical descents and rough trails.

At the centre of the wheelset is the precision-engineered Fantom hub, constructed from AL6061 alloy and equipped with a 6-pawl, 102-tooth quick engagement system. This design ensures rapid engagement and efficient power transfer, helping riders maintain control and momentum on demanding terrain.

The Fantom wheels are tubeless-ready and supplied with tubeless rim tape and valves, allowing riders to run lower tyre pressures for improved grip, comfort, and puncture resistance.
