The FUNN Fantom AM40 Wheelset is built for riders who demand maximum strength and stability on aggressive trails. Designed for trail and enduro riding, the AM40 uses a wider rim profile to provide improved tyre support, traction and control on rough terrain.
The Fantom AM40 rim features a 40 mm external and 35 mm internal width, offering excellent stability when running wider tyres and lower pressures. This wider platform improves grip and confidence when cornering or riding technical trails.
At the centre of the wheelset are precision-engineered Fantom hubs, constructed from AL6061 alloy and featuring a 6-pawl, 102-tooth quick-engagement system for rapid power transfer and responsive acceleration.
The rims are made from welded AL6066 alloy with a sandblasted anodised black finish, creating a strong yet lightweight wheel designed to handle demanding riding conditions.
The wheelset is tubeless-ready and comes supplied with tubeless rim tape and valves, allowing riders to run lower pressures for better grip and improved puncture resistance.
